APS was founded by professionals who spent years working in the trenchless industry and saw a gap between the technology available and the support contractors actually needed. Too many companies sold equipment without investing in the people using it.

Jake Saltzman, CEO of APS
Jake Saltzman is the Founder and CEO of American Pipelining Solutions, bringing more than three decades of hands-on experience in trenchless technology and pipeline rehabilitation. His career began in the field, working alongside contractors performing drain cleaning, pipe rehabilitation, and CIPP installations.
Before founding APS, Jake served as Worldwide Technical Director for Picote Solutions, where he worked with contractors across North America and internationally to implement technologies, refine processes, and expand training programs. This global experience revealed a critical gap: advanced equipment without the practical training and support needed to use it effectively.
Jake built APS to close that gap. Under his leadership, the company has become a trusted partner for contractors nationwide, delivering not just equipment, but a complete ecosystem of solutions—from pipe inspection systems and UV curing technology to hands-on training through APSTA and ongoing technical support. His field-first approach ensures every solution APS offers is shaped by real jobsite challenges and designed to help contractors work smarter, deliver better results, and build more profitable businesses.
